For the past several years, I’ve been participating in
various “site clinics” around the country. These site clinics consist of a
group of interactive marketing consultants asking for volunteer Websites from
the crowd, offering a brief critique and some words of advice and then leaving.
These clinics are some of the most popular features at the large interactive
marketing shows and local search engine marketing events alike, and I’ve been
proud to be a part of them.
There’s only one thing that’s always bothered me. In a room
of more than 100 people, it’s impossible to get to every site that wants a
critique. In fact, at one Search Engine Strategies show, I know we had at least
50 people in the audience who wanted their site critiqued and didn’t have the
chance. So I’ve decided to do something about it.
On May 8 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., WrightIMC will hold our
inaugural site clinic at our offices at 101 E. Park Blvd. #600, Plano, Tx
At this site clinic, you’ll interact with seasoned
interactive and search marketing professionals who will be able to analyze and
critique your site from a search engine optimization, pay-per-click
marketing, usability, design and conversion rate analysis standpoint.
And the best part – this first site clinic is FREE! In the
future, we plan to charge for this event, but in order to garner interest and
make sure we have all of our ducks in a row, we aren’t charging anything this
Oh, and if we have too many people in the room to get to
everyone in the 2 hours allotted? I promise free consulting to everyone who
comes to the clinic – even if we have to spend a ton of time on the phone in
the days after the clinic.
But we do want to know how many are coming. We’re going to have some food and drink
and we want to make sure we have enough. So if you plan on coming, kindly shoot
me an e-mail or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can also call me at 972.516.3853. I look forward to seeing you on May 8.
